Rumney climbing is what it's all about

the town is small, but the library has free wi-fi, accessible from the parking area. climbing has a day use fee of $3, which is a bit annoying, but I saw people working on the trails so it seems the money goes for the goodness of the area. otherwise, camping seems expensive for the amenities or lack there of. we just paid $16 ($8 /person) to park in someone's back yard (that they boast as a campground) with only a port -a- pot as an amenity. i mean, there weren't even trash bins around! geesh!
