Here is my first entry!  I have been wandering around kits while procrastinating my days away while I should be studying for my comprehensive exam on Monday (2 days from today!).  And I've found lots of cool stuff.  Like, I visited the H.R. MacMillian Space Centre which is just a few blocks away from me.  And out front they have a big metal crab fountain thing!  crazy.  Anyway I went into the bookstore and that was fun.

What else have I done lately?  Oh I went to Granville Island last weekend, and saw the markets and the pier.  It was very hot that day and I got a sunburn all over my shoulders and back!  I met my photography class there in the morning, and afterwards my boyfriend met me there and we wandered some more.  We found some Canada geese which were definitely not afraid of strangers!

Also, the views from kits beach can be really gorgeous, especially when the clouds do fun things on bright days (you can see wonderful shadows over Grouse mountain) and during dusk and/or sunset.  Also, the flowers have been incredibly lush lately... springtime and summertime around here appear to be absolutely wonderful for flowers.

Except today happens to be very, very rainy.  boo.  Well actually that is probably good considering that I really need to concentrate on my work-related stuff this weekend.

OK that is all for today.  I hope to go somewhere else fun someday soon.  Maybe to Vancouver Island in a couple of weekends.
