Day 1

OK so our flight gets in around 7.30 rather than 6.30 which means that we have a mad scramble to make the last train to Nagano - which we manage to get on with about 1 minute to spare. After downing numerous Asahi's on the train we arrive a couple of hours later in Nagano. Thought about getting a cab to Hakuba but at the cost of around $170 we decide to stay overnight in Nagano. Found a random restaurant which we were way too tall for then called it a night.
