a side note (things go awry)

A side note:

Sooo i have discovered a minor problem in my (somewhat) well-formed plan. I thought...easy enough...i can update my blog at any ol' inernet cafe...keep everyone happy...i feel as though i'm making an effort to preserve my hard-earned memories...all is well. But a foil to my plan i discovered today!! I glided into the internet cafe...my mind teeming with ideas and exciting stories to share...maybe a joke here or there already prepared....paid up my few euros ...sat down at the computer ready the brain-dump into the computer for the next couple of hours...began typing and soon realized a serious error in my typing. What happened? Had my typing skill suddenly been lost? What were these words coming out?? Ohhh noooo!! the keyboard...it was...well...different. first i though...ehh...no problem...a few changes...no big deal. But in fact...it was...i could hardly type. I had to use the one-finger and search for the right key method! I was back in 4 ^th grade. All my ideas were cramped with no way to get out. Of course you're thiking...pen and paper my dear....are you too technologically spoiled to go back to your roots of writing??! Well...yes, as it turns out. But then i still have the problem of transfering the information. And apparently this keyboard appears all across europe. I'm now thankfully typing on an friend's keyboard (i just saw someone with a computer and desperately begged for it's use) but my blogs may now be even more sporadic. I'll do my best, but this is surely a challenge.  (luckily...i am now in amsterdam and they have american-style keyboards...let's hope this trend continues...)
