Mt Nebo & The Dead Sea

We visited the church built on the spot where Moses first saw the promised land. I have no idea how he could tell it was flowing with milk and honey; we could barely see it through the haze.

That night we had another amazing campsite. We were on the mountain above the Dead Sea and when it was dark we could see the lights of Jericho, Jerusalem and Bethlehem.

The next morning we went for a float in the Dead Sea. It was such a weird sensation; you couldn’t sink no matter how hard you tried. We didn’t stay in for to long though because the salt stung.
