Mondello is a short bus ride from Palermo. A day of rest and relaxation. Its a cute seaside resort filled with beautiful villas and vistas. Interestingly, the architecture of many of the villas are primarily art deco and or Italian construction. The beach radiates a golden color with very soft sand, is mesmerizing and sits between Mount Pellegrini and Cape Gallo. The town is rich in private villas, palm trees, and majestic masculine mountains. In the center of the beach sits a beach club - restaurant out on a pier that has beautiful vistas and snobby waiters! The beach is lined with colorful cafes and bars. Beautiful and colorful plant life, palm trees and flowers line the street between the cafes and the beach. The town is a cross between Palm Springs and a Southern Californian town. Quite a refreshing change of pace for Italy. Please enjoy some pictures.
