I am in Mexico City!! My number one country to visit!!

I met up with Nath at the airport and we went to our hostel. The next day, we met up with his 3 very good mates from Melbourne - Michael, Connor and Daniel. We stayed here just a few days as we are eager to continue to the west coastline. There is not alot to see but in terms of what I´d been told about Mexico but I was surprised to find it a clean, safe and not too crowded city. We met a couple - the guy Mexican, the girl American, who came out drinking with us and took us to a couple of cool little bars just out of the city centre and introduced us to `Mezcala`- Mexico's own absinthe! But not to worry, we only sampled one!

Thankfully, Mexico is much warmer than the states, 30 degrees +. The taxi's here are pretty cool - green little VW's zipping around the city. On the second day here, we visited the Anthropology museum.. good for maybe an hour or two but given everything was written in Spanish, not that entertaining for a full day!

Next stop - Oaxaca.
