  • We woke early to get some k’s under the belt and stopped of at a little town called Tullibody where the Sneddon’s originated from. A very cute little town. We had lunch after buying some rolls (whew… 68p total with only 80p on us). We then took a look at the town’s ancient cemetery, just to see if any Snedd’s lay there. To no avail but it was worth a try. From there it was a clear run to St Andrews. We loved the town itself. Very well looked after, clean, not to mention bustling! We checked out the original golf coarse. So green and perfect. Before that we’d had a massive hot dog feast in the car overlooking the beautiful coastline. The weather was a bit crappy but that didn’t bother us. We headed off soon after looking through the gift shops. Deciding against fussing around trying to find an open camp spot, we decided to by-pass Edinburgh this time and keep going towards the Lakes District. We stopped at a servo about 20 k’s from Carlisle and discreetly pulled our curtains across behind a truck and stayed the night. Illegally of coarse but oh well!!!
