We arrived fairly late on a long weekend and all the good camping spots were taken. We setup on the flattest ground we could find and all immediately started freaking out about the ANTS, huge, real maneaters. I would have saved all the freaking out for later if I had of realised that I might need it for my first visit to the worst pit toilet you've ever seen. The good thing about this spot (Plantation)  was that it was an old pine plantation and theres was heaps of wood stacked up which made having a fire easy. We attempted our first damper. We're took a drive around the Grampians to visit Lake Mackenzie, Lake Wartook and Lake Fyans. We'd hoped to do some donutting on Lake Fyans but considering that it was all but dry we gave up.
