After visiting San Francisco, we packed up the car and headed south for an overnight stay in Monterey. We had a hotel right on the beach, although it was too cold to swim. We visited Cannery Row and saw the Monterey Aquarium which was really interesting. They have a sea otter rehabilitation center where they raise orphan pups and hurt otters.
