My feet didn't touch land here

I didn't depart the boat to check out Formentera. Others did, and I managed to get some peace and quiet a bit as well as rework my PSCT project into something more meaningful - a quick discussion on how to outfit and handle your boat in/for rough weather - and what sorts of weather you'd encounter (lightning, rogue waves, waterspouts, gear you'd need like escape hatches, rigging for more safely dealing with lightning, etc.) I gotta say, though, we had AMAZING lightening storms in our anchorage...i mean flashes like every 5 seconds. No joke. I had a couple good swims, too, but mainly hung out on the boat. The second day in Formentera, we did 1.5 hours of rescue diving skills. Crazy in some big swells, but I guess that's good practice. I nearly freaked because I inhaled some air when trying the sharing air/rescue breathing stuff. Note for all you divers out there - take the regulator the right way round or you end up with some water in your lungs. NO fun. But good to learn and never forget ;). From here we went on in a speedy passage to our next stop....
