We had to fly from Guatemala city back to Miami to continue our journey to Peru, the experience was pretty uneventful apart from the ridiculously early hour of our flight and the fact that we forgot to pack our DEET mossie spray away, it was still in our hand luggage. On inspection the security guard immediatley found the mossie spray, a small tube of bite cream (essential) and our bottle of water. We managed to hold on to the bite cream but nothing else, boo hoo! Damn the no liquids rule..
