I registered for classes today at the Management School. OMG it is so beautiful over there. I think that the surrounding part of Bradford where the school is more the higher end class of people. The building is just like it is pictured. We sat in one big hall today for presentations and there was stained glass windows on three sides. Beautiful! All of the gardens are manicured perfectly, the grass is perfectly trimmed and cut. Walking between the buildings felt like walking through a secret garden. The paths are stone with moss and little flowers growing along it. There was a cafeteria there that serves hot and cold meals all day long. It was in a modern building and looked pretty new and modern. I also saw a little coffee/tea shop that was inside an older building and it had more stained glass windows.

I have signed up for a mixture of classes. I am taking one level one, two level twos, and three level threes. I'm taking all business classes, and most of them will go towards my international concentration. I have class everyday of the week. Most of them are in the mornings. Here you go to lecture for 1 hour and then there is a hour long tutorial. So you only go to class for 2 hours a week for each class. Well, actually thats not true, you only have tutorial every other week. Each class is worth 10 credits. For a 10 credit class you are supposed to spend 100 hours. Some of that time includes lectures, exams and tutorials, but the rest you put in yourself.

To get to the School of Management I have to take the "school bus." Basically it is a regular bus that just runs from the city campus to the management campus. It's a double-decker. It costs a pound each way, so since I have to go both ways 5 days a week that would be 10 pounds a week. I think I can purchase a metro-card for 129 pounds and then all I have to do is show that. It's a 129 pounds for each semester, but by the time you work it out it would cost that much anyways and this way I can take the bus to the grocery and downtown too.
I want to try and go to the National Media Museum tomorrow. Hopefully we'll find time to go. Tomorrow I think I will go and try to open a bank account. When I get that information I'll pass it along. I don't think the grocery store that I will do most of my shopping at takes credit cards. I'll double check next time I go. Tonight I made pasta with spaghetti sauce and some chicken. I invited Josie (CA) and Ramsey (CA) over to join me and also Gaynor (UK) and Kayliegh (UK) and Nick (Greece) and then Ben(UK) also joined us. It was a really fun dinner. I had a pack of frozen marinated turkey breasts that we cooked up. Nick thought that we Americans we very strange for drinking milk with food that is salty and not sweet. Also we all had something different to call the pasta. There was also some discussion about bagels, which they have never tried and cream cheese vs. cheese cream. Every time we sit down to eat it is like having a lesson on food cultures.
