After our exhausting tour yesterday and a big day planned tomorrow, we lacked a lot of energy for today. We wandered from our hotel to Banglampoo, which is a part of town that is a backpacker hangout. There are a lot of guest houses and hostels, as well as a ton of stalls set up. We happily looked through, but didn't buy anything. I'm on the lookout for a few things, but I couldn't find what I wanted. We did enjoy a nice lunch at a pizza place, which isn't very Thai, but was very tasty. They have stuffed crust pizza that has cheese and sausage in it. It was different, but quite tasty. We looked through more stall and shops on our way back to the hotel. We took a nap in the afternoon and then packed and rearranged our things for the next day.

Since I have almost nothing to say about the day, it gives me a chance to discuss my transportation fascination. If this doesn't interest you, you can move onto tomorrow (which is way more exciting) and not miss anything. The laws regarding seat belts and such here appear to be non-existent or not enforced. I am not sure which. Everywhere we go now, I stay on the lookout for the number of people that can fit in one vehicle. Here are the most amazing things I have seen thus far. I will keep mentioning this, if I have seen something more amazing at the end of my daily blogs.

Tuk-Tuk: Four adults and a medium size dog in the back Small pick up truck (not an extended cab): 2 adults and 2 kids in the cab, 9 teenagers to adults in the bed of the truck Motorcycle (and these are not large motorcycles that they use here): Three adults Taxi: 1 passenger in the front seat and 5 adults in the backseat

And this is just what I see!! I can't help wonder what other quantities of people and things can fit in and on vehicles here.
