Temples Traffic and Tibetan Kathmandu

We thoroughly enjoyed a hectic day in Kathmandu; an early morning flight to view Mount Everest, wandering around dozens of temples in Durbar Square and marvelling at the huge Buddhist stupa in the Tibetan quarter of the city.

Kathmandu is dusty, bustling, noisy but always fascinating. Taxi rides across the city were great fun if slightly hair-raising as we avoided goats, cows, monkeys and other traffic somehow!

All too soon it was time to leave Nepal, but we will be back!
