Today, I crossed the State line of South Dakota to go to the Badlands National Park. This is a very fascinating area, like a different planet. That's why "Starship Troopers" had there set here: I was looking for Denise Richards, but she wasn't there... ;-) Unfortunately, one of the roads was closed due to the bad weather yesterday, so it was a rather short visit to this beautiful scenery.

From the Badlands, I took I-90 to Rapid City where I stay for the night.

Heute habe ich die Staatsgrenze nach South Dakota ueberschritten, um in den Badlands Nationalpark zu gehen. Es ist wie ein anderer Planet, deshalb wurde wohl auch "Starship Troopers" hier gedreht. Leider war Denise Richards nicht zu finden... ;-). Eine der Strassen war gesperrt und es war nur ein kleiner Teil des Parkes geoeffnet wegen den Regenfaellen gestern. So war der Aufenthalt halt nur ein paar Stunden.

Von den Bandlands aus, nahm ich dann den Highway 90 nach Rapid City, wo ich die Nacht verbringe.
