We attended our friends' wedding on the lake in a boat. The day started out sunny but became overcast just as they began their vows. Still it was beautiful and everyone had a great time. The lake is such an incredible blue you can hardly believe your eyes.

We spent the evenings at local restaurants, some good, some bad. We spent one night at the casinos on the Utah border. I'm not a big gambler so I was happy to leave the casinos, while my husband was very happy playing poker.

We had a pretty strict itinerary due to the wedding, so we didn't explore a whole lot. I'd love to return to Tahoe during the winter for skiing. I'm not so sure I'd be quick to return in summer because I already live in a beautiful, small mountain town in Colorado and there's really no reason to leave here in summer. Tahoe was a little fast-paced and hot for me. Maybe it's the Californians.
