Day 8 - Malaga, Spain - June 10

For our first full day in Malaga we decided to enjoy the beautiful beaches of the coast of Spain. After laying out for a few hours we went home to have lunch at our apartment before venturing out to explore the city of Malaga.

We followed signs into Malaga (since we, as usual, do not have a map of the area) hoping to just drive around and get a feel for the city. We ended up stumbling upon an amazing cathedral so we parked and got out to take photos. In awe of the cathedral we walked around the building and found ourselves in front of an ancient roman castle! We seem to just keep finding all of these amazing cites by accident. After walking around the castle for about two hours in the heat I (taylor) found myself feeling extremely dehydrated so we stopped to get some cash and water before heading back to our apartment.

Once we were home we cooked dinner and had a casual night in watching CNN (the only english channel) and playing cards (which often turns out poorly since we are both extremely competitive).

It was a great, relaxing first day in Malaga. We are having a great time- seeing and experiencing so much- and we know we are very blessed to have this opportunity. That said, we think of each of you every day, We love you all!
