Cusco Day 7

Another early start another 4 hours of Spanish, or rather Cuatras horas de espanol.

As part of our 6 days of spanish they inlucded a city tour and a free salsa lesson so toady we opted that after school we would do the Cusco city tour.. not really knowing what to expect.

After school we headed into town and to Paddy OFlahertys, (the wolds highest riah bar) for lunch and to chill out until the start of our city tour at 1400.

After a massive and expensive burger each we headed to the tour agency and hoped on the bus.

First port of call was La catedral, the main feature of Plaza de Aramas, on walking in, you are immeditely blown away by the intricate stone woark and carpentry, closely followed by the amount of silver and gold used in the numerous eloborate decorations. The tour took aruond 40 minutes and was actually rather interesting, though at one poin caz did acuse me of blasmophy. The guides english was good, but not perfect and with the slight accente she pronounced chirst, it Caused me at one point to ask Caz

"Who the hell is Chris?"

The Church also has a large mural with a rather interesting take on the last supper, an almost expact copy, only incorporating Cuy as the meal and Chicha as the drink, and if christ manage to feed himself and allhis disciplice with one guineapig thats a feat to rivel the loaves and fishes story!

After the church we headed to Coricancha....
