We arrived in San Franciso and checked into a tiny hotel called the Abigail. I do not know if it is still in existence but it was simply charming!
We spent our three days touring all the usual sites and I loved them all! We went to Muir Woods to see the magnificent Redwoods, lunch in Sausolito and of course to Fisherman's Wharf where you could spend the whole day people watching, eating and enjoying the weather.
no trip to San Fran would be complete without a ride over the Golden Gate Bridge!
