Ying had promised us an early morning trek to try to find wildlife. We were to wake up at 6am but the guides woke up late and by the time we started our trek, it was too late for any sightings.  Nonetheless, it was a good morning walk.

We zipped back to our treehouse and had breakfast. Glutinous rice again!!! After breakfast, we made our way to Treehouse 4. We were supposed to exchange treehouses with the other half of our group. Met the rest of the group halfway, took a group picture and continued our way. It was the most difficult trek ever! Very very steep uphill climb for more than an hour!

Each time somebody zipped in and out of the treehouse, it shooked threateningly.

When we finally reached Treehouse 4, I couldn't believe my eyes. The tree holding Treehouse 4 was a lot thinner and looked less sturdy than that of Treehouse 5. Each time somebody zipped in and out of the treehouse, it shooked threateningly. And I thought the other group was joking when they said there was no water supply in Treehouse 4...you should see the toilet...they call it the emergency toilet because it's basically just a hole overhanging from the side of the treehouse.  There were 2 other toilets further down the hill on the way to the waterfall but they had no water supply too. And it was a workout just coming up from the toilets. We were all very disappointed with our treehouse and could just imagine the joy of the other group when they got to Treehouse 5.

The waterfall seemed like a good idea initially and it even looked tempting as the water cascaded into a wide pool where you could swim around given the right temperature. The water temperature must have been 10C or less when we were there.  I just watched the rest jump in and out of the pool.

We still had not seen any wildlife save for a few kingfisher-like birds...and oh! a snake on the way back from the toilet.

Dinner was served shortly after we got back from the waterfall. Then we played cards again, this time we just stuck to the game that i taught them because every time Idan tried to teach a new game, he forgot half of it.
