Finally in Bali, Bali, Bali

We got to the hotel Aston Bali in the part of Nusa Dua. We planned to go out for Christmas dinner but mean while we started chatting and toasting with Tequila that my friends had brought from Mexico. And between a shot and another one we end up that Christmas night around 5:30 am after hips of anecdotes, new stories, updates and obviously after a bottle and a half of good tequila.

is more the fame that what it really is...

In the next couple of days we rented a par of scooters and so we can move easily along the island. Our first stop was the famous beach of Kuta which was a very disappointed experience. It was very dirty neither the sand nor the waves were that spectacular. Definitely in Mexico we have way better beaches. Anyway we cover the whole area of Kuta full of mall, shops and restaurants-bars. We keep on going thought out the marvelous resorts and temples around the area. Until we got to the lay back beach of Sanur, were we had a couple of beers on one of the small bars in the beach. The atmosphere in this beach was by far the best of all, but we decided to go back to Kuta to have a nice fancy dinner but still very cheap…

Pedro and Alvaro went to Kuala Lumpur for a couple of days. Meanwhile Ale and I stayed in Bali. We tried to cover different parts of the island but the rain stopped us and we end up booking a diving tour for the next day with Made our instructor and owner of the shop (www.baliscubamasters.com). So after crossing the whole island, around 2 hrs sounded by gorgeous rice terraces, we were diving on a wreck. A Japanese ship from the Second World War located in Tulambeu. We had two dives but, in the second one the tank of Ale had a leak so she terrified quite the dive. But the views of the wreck are very neat so you I was actually standing in the deck of the ship and looking through the windows of the cabins!!!

To finish a magnificent experience we changed hotels to a small bungalow that was in Sanur. That night we went for dinner at one of the restaurants in the beach (Mango) with candles and sea just a few meters away from the table and tried some local drinks made of Arak.
