We arrived in "Wagga" to a wall of heat after we got off the air-conditioned train. After finding out hotel we went for a stroll around the town and got some lunch. Wagga was a very nice small town with the Murrumbidgee river running through it which people used as the swimming pool and beach. We didn't do too much in Wagga, just getting the feel for a smaller Australian town. One thing we did learn is that in Summer always make sure your room has air-con or a fan as our room didn't and as one of the hottest days and nights we've had in Australia, it wasn't pleasant. By the next day we were ready to head to Melbourne on our nice cool train!
