We had an early start Sunday morning as we got the coach at 6:45am. The coach took us to Tswwassen Ferry terminal which was about a 45 min trip from Vancouver. We then boarded the BC ferry which was very old and needed updating!! However, the crossing was very smooth and very picturesque and we got some great photos, the trip took about 90 mins. We then got back on the coach for 45 mins until we arrived at Victoria (the city of British Columbia)

It was lovely weather all day and got hotter as the day went on. We took a walk around the main streets and had a coffee and did some gift shopping at the local market. We then came across an interesting parade..... it was the Gay Pride carnival. Well we have seen it all now, Neil got some video footage and some photos of some very questionable drag queens and half naked cyclists!! it was good fun anyway!!

the perfect place to relax during the day but also to party at night!!

We had lunch in a nice pub along the seafront. There seemed to be alot more nightlife  venues in Victoria than in Vancouver and a lot less homeless people too!!

We watched some jazz at Market Sqaure as it was the last day of the Jazz festival, there was a great atmosphere and we had a nice relaxing day. As the weather was so nice we wanted to spend as much time outside as possible. We did, however visit the Royal BC Museum that had some amazing exhibits and took you through the history of BC, the iceage, the first nations and otehr interesting facts.
