There was this highway in Canada named Sea to Sky Highway, which in 2 hours, I could go from Vancouver to Whistler. Whistler is a world-class resort, a ski-lover’s heaven. The hosting city for the 2010 Winter Olympics, it has over 7000 acres of skiing terrain, with 33 lifts connecting to more than 200 trails.

I don’t ski, but I have to say it was the best ski-resort I have ever visited. Instead of calling it a city, I would prefer calling it a village. Most of the buildings over there reminded me of Switzerland, which I visited back in the summer of 1999. There were so many different types of stores and restaurants around, which are mostly created for the purpose of the tourists. Just like any other visitors’ focal point, the things in Whistler were more expensive than other places. However, the services and quality of the food and souvenirs were first class.

The higher in altitude/elevation I go, the better I feel.

Up on the slope, it was pretty. I could help but compare Whistler to Mount Titlis in Switzerland again. Although the scenery were both excellent, the skiing facilities were better in Whistler. However, there were more people in Whistler than in Mount Titlis, because of its fame. It was all good tho. This is because as a pilot, the higher in altitude/elevation I go, the better I feel. The air is thinner, clearer, and the sky is prettier.
