1st Day in Fiji

I left Los Angeles at 10:30pm on Jan. 21 and arrived in Nadi, Fiji this morning Jan. 23 5:00 am, long flight where does the time go. I guess that international date line can mess up your week. It is very hot and humid, it kind of feels like Kansas in the summer, but this place is a way more festive. I got a shuttle to the Hostel, the Skylodge, it is pretty cool. I couldn't check in until noon, so I sat by the pool read my book and got some rays. I tried the local Fiji beers, the golden and the bitter. They are very similar to the Australia beer, but probably because Fosters owns them. I think I may try to visit the brewery later this week, if it is close to Nadi. Well, I am off to venture into town and get a bite to eat. I hope all is well back home. Hope to hear from some of you.
