Arrived fairly late in Halifax, who knows where our luggage went.  Grabbed a bite to eat at the House of Mei Mei (yuk) and turned in.

Yahoo our luggage arrived, ate breakfast at the Motel's restaurant and is was very good.

Spent the day touring around the foggy Halifax waterfront, lots to see and lots to do.  We went to the maritime museum, which is a very cool place, we could have spent the whole day there.  We learned all about the Halifax disaster where a munitions ship collided with another ship in the harbour (actually quite close to where our hotel is).  The munitions ship caught fire and blew up, leveling a large part of Halifax, 8 times the casualties of the Chicago fire, and 4 times the casualties of the San Francisco earthquake... who knew?

Went up to the Halifax Citadel (we used our National Historic Site Pass here, it would have cost us $27.50)... also very cool, but foggy so we couldn't see much.  We did see the firing of the noon gun, and Zoe danced the fling while one of the pipers played.  We toured the Citadel for a while then headed back to the Harbour Walk.

The fog started to lift so we headed to Peggy's Cove, which was a very nice drive.  When we arrived at Peggy's Cove however, so did the fog, but it wasn't too bad.  Peggy's Cove is absolutely beautiful place lots of photo opportunities.  There are a few places to eat and some shops for browsing.  Lots of tourists doing the same thing that we were doing... snapping photos galore.

Then we were back at the Halifax waterfront for Supper at Murphy's Restaurant, I had the Scallops which were great, and Laureen had lobster which was also pretty good, great location and Great Atmosphere.
