We know we've been slack with this thing lately, but really not a whole heaps of excitement is happening! We're living in a flat just out of Manchester for those that don't know... We've both been working with agencies, and getting a lot of work which is good!

We went and saw Man City (our stadium's team) play Arsenal at Man City, courtesy of our lovely landlords season passes! Good game, the fans were really into it and didn't shut up for a minute. Towards the end, cops and security guards outnumbered spectators we think!

We went down to see a game of the UK AFL league just south of town, and it was...interesting! The away team only had half their players, so some of the Mancehster players changed their tops to play on the other teams side. There was a mix of English, Irish and Aussie players, with the rules stating that only six Australian players are allowed on the ground at a time, for each team. The UK players putin a lot of effort, but you could really tell when an Aussie had the ball! Afterwards we got invited to the local pub, The Uluru (seriously) for drinks, and Trumble got asked to train and play with them. They clearly haven't seen him kick a ball....

We were blessed with the company of the girls (who had the apartment before us), when they returned to Manchester for a few days before heading home. Was fantastic to see them again, and sad to see them go!

Other than that, we've ventured out to Liverpool for a lovely sunny day, though didn't learn anything to tell you about. It did remind us of Williamstown back home...

Take That played a concert at our place last night, and again tonight. There was a helicopter hovering right over the staidum for most of the gig, maybe Robbie Williams is going to aprachute out??? Fireworks afterwards, pretty cool...
