Just passing through

After passing through San Jose's airport security and being one of the "lucky" few to be randomly searched, I met up with Yev near our departure gate.  While we were sitting, waiting for Mexicana's airline boarding to commence, one of the two (young female) airline attendants at the gate approached us and said they wanted us to come up to the gate -- something to do with our tickets...turns out that many smiles later they were going to upgrade our economy tickets to 1st class, free of charge.  As it turns out, this first flight was the longest, and of course, the most spacious.  Not even at my height could I make use of all the space alotted to us in 1st class.  The meal was by far the best airline food I've ever had.
