Long bus ride, but that meant we had a whole day for sight-seeing. Passed a Wal-Mart on the way into town but Cook wouldn't let me go. I need a battery charger, wa wa wa. Found the hostel, can't check in yet only like 6am. Went to a bakery and had pasteries and coffee. Went to the bus station and got tickets for our next bus ride. Then to the City Hall. Wow is it beautiful on the outside. Good goodness. Not allowed to tour, official function going down. Took a bridge over the canal, la dee da shopping street. Then, there it was, and H&M! Looked around but no purchases. Went back to hostel and checked in then to the grocery store. Bought food and ate in the room, no kitchen to speak of and we have the room to ourselves, so we ate so food ensuite. Good view and tall bunks. Take a short nap with intense dreams where I am a spy and people want to kill me, really weird. No lights in the hall and the dim lighting makes me think Michael (Halloween) is going to come down the hall and kill me, kinda creepy. We head out to St. Pauli and the sex district. Lots of fast food joints over there, and I find parts of Vegas seedier. Went to the erotic art museum, mostly found it more pornographic then erotic, though I am now quite familier with human genitalia. On the way back to the metro station we passed upwards of thirty hookers, all in really cute ski clothes. All really young and cute, seems like a shame. Have a feeling the street and district is far more colorful in summer. Anyway then went to hotel.

28th- The racetrack building was having a rummage sale, we went in but didn't purchase anything. Then to Michel to the top of the tower. Climbed the stairs the whole way. Amazing views from the top. The inside of the church was so light and airy and very much alive, not a relic. Then the little street, with the wood buildings, the museum was sadly closed and the strret felt quite touristy but it was still cute. Walked to St. Nikolai Spire where 5 Euro nickels fell down from ?????????? fell down on me. Great views there too, the glass elevator is neat to go up because you could see the remains of the spire really well. Passed by St. Katherines then headed for the mini-museum but it was waaaay too bust, like a line for an E-ticket ride at Disneyland. Went round the corner to the spice museum, which was awesome. So much fun. You could see, smell, taste and touch all the spices. I highly recommend getting a decent quantity of mustard seeds to play with, they feel so cool. Back to hotel got ready to leave in morning and then went to bed early.

What is a garden city in Winter?
