It is the beginning of a great adventure, I say goodbye to my friends, family and my brand new condo, puppy and my boyfriend of 4 years..realizing at the airport, that I changed my mind and I don't want to do this anymore!
Luckily, Sarah arrived, a girl from Whistler, BC that went to school in London, England...she would turn out to be my rock and help me get through one of the most exciting yet stressful experience of my life! We both had a lot in common and hit it off immediately.

We land in Belgium and realize we both do not know the meaning of packing light and struggle through the airport onto a train with 2 huge suitcases that way a ton!
Training for my new job in Belgium!
We arrive to a beautiful Belgium house, next to it, our office..this will be our new home for the next 2 weeks. Next, pure torture, trying to get 2 suitcases up 5 flights of stairs to our bedroom! We wait for the others to arrive. By the end of the night, the house is buzzing with everyone getting to know each other, there is the boys floor, with 1 CDN ( Dan ) Carlos from Portugal, Ale from Italy and Dom from England. The girls, Sarah and Sylvia from Spain and Alana from Toronto, Serena from Italy, Michelle from Scotland ( whom I can't understand) and Suzanne from Ireland.

FInally the BIg Brother house is full and we wait for The Apprentice to start the next day!
The next 2 weeks is gruelling, we are faced with class from 8-5 and then homework that kept us up to 2-3 in the morning. We knew not all of us would make it and with the added pressure some of us were beginning to crack! On top of all this, my boyfriend who never answers the phone, was doing just that, never answering the phone! Sarah and I stuck together and helped each other as much as we could and it paid off!

Work hard, play harder, is exactly what we did. We celebrated Carlos' birthday in style, with a great dinner and a night on the town. Belgium nightlife did not disappoint, great food, great pubs, although the disco was typical euro with flashy lights and just craziness!
2 weeks went by really fast and I would miss all my new friends! I found out I passed my training and would be off to Singapore with my new partner, Michelle and my new best friend Sarah would also be joining a team there...how exciting!
So, one chapter closed, the next would be Asia and I was thrilled!
