Alot is said about the adrenalin capital of New Zealand but its also a stunning place with a beautiful blue lake & a snowcapped mountain backdrop to die for. We did our share of thrill seeking with a ride on the famous Shotover Jet boat. It was good fun but perhaps a little overhyped, theme park style, and relatively expensive. We went up the gondola and the enjoyde the vies, walked in the park by the lake and explored the gorgeous scenery in the area. We also visited the cute little former goldrush settlement of Arrowtown.
