The little town of Mykonos was amazing and so fun. I loved (and hated) that the streets were designed in a maze (to confuse pirates) cuz we just wandered around lost. We found an internet café in the maze somewhere but it took us forever with lots of backtracking. The water was so cool, blue and shiny and the little houses and churches were really nice and quaint. There were TONS of whitewashed buildings some with the well-known blue trims – we saw a church that used to consists of 5 buildings all whitewashed together so it looked like one. Our tour guide, TQ decided to take our group on a little walk-about around the town and took us around Little Venice (a bunch of really quaint restaurants along the waterfront), the jewellery shops, and the famous 4 windmills. There were buses that could take you to Paradise Beach (rumoured the ULTIMATE party beach) and SUPER Paradise Beach (the hard core nude beach) but since we didn’t have enough time on the island we opted to wander the streets.

Its funny cuz sometimes when I was walking around I got the weird feeling that I was still on the boat and the ground felt like it was moving. That’s from being on the cruise ship so long (Steph & I call this “Cruise-News”, the daily publication from the ship - it was easier than trying to explain the feeling).

We wanted to go to Club Ramrod , not only for the name, but cuz the gay club scene in Mykonos is supposed to be insane.
Ooops...didn't know we were supposed to make a dumb face, Steph

We ditched the group for dinner and decided to have dinner by ourselves in Little Venice at an Italian restaurant along the water so we could watch the sunset (ohhhh, romantic!). The seafood was amazing, though we didn’t have enough money to get a massive lobster this time (boohoo). We met the group afterwards at their restaurant (also in Little Venice) and headed over to Rhapsody Bar which was full of younger people (mostly tourists) and had a couple drinks there. I was very amused that they had a Blue Jays baseball displayed on the bar.

It was sad that we had to board the ship at midnight because the club scene in Mykonos does not get started til about 2 am! We wanted to go to Club Ramrod, not only for the name, but cuz the gay club scene in Mykonos is supposed to be insane. There were rainbows all over this island.

So walking back to the ship, we decided we would party ourselves (as usual) and further exploit the All-inclusive drink card since we didn’t get to experience the famed Mykonos nightlife...

Next Greek Island stops to look forward to....Patmos (really early...yuck), Kusadasi in Turkey, Rhodes, Crete and finally Santorini (where got to ride donkeys!!!! Wooooo!!!!)
