So...7:30 am this morning came REALLY early. Our first agency this morning was DDB, and it was way out in the middle of nowhere so we had to leave almost 2 hours early.  But it was well worth it as it was one of the best agencies i've seen so far.  The office had a great feel to it; there was a meeting room complete with bean bag chairs and an amazing view, and a giant magnetic poetry wall when you first walked in.  And who ever said advertising in not a fun industry? ...

We had some free time in between that one and Grey group, so we wandered around for a bit and ate at this great little bakery.  My entire meal was less than $2, and i had 3 sandwiches and dessert!  After Grey, we went to Mong Koc; basically a huge overcrowded outdoor bargain market.  Known for it's proficence of knock off purses, I set out to get some great deals.  What I found, was a terrifying environment of crazy pushy sales ladies so desperate for sales they would literally bruise my arm before letting me leave without the latest fake Prada.  I ended up with two amazing paintings insteady, which are probably my favorite Asian finds so far : )  Although I did manage to talk some lady down from $200 US dollars to $50 for this great black leather "Prada" (which I still did not end up buying haha)...

After that, we stumbled upon this amazing little Japanese restaurant...We had to take our shoes off before entering, and sat on the floor around a table.  Great food and great drinks; some of the group tried to recreate Sake-bombs (since apparently those are actually an American invention) with disasterous results.  We had a really fun time until we realized it was almost 10pm and WAY past our bedtimes considering we have to be ready to go at 7:30am tomorrow...

hasta manana!
