Got kind of a late start...around 1. The temperature stayed at 75 for most all of the trip to Vicksburg. The traffic was very light. It's amazing how slow 50 MPH seems when the speed limit changes. I saw a lot of trees-all green. There is hardly any civilization along route 20 going through Louisiana. My price per gallon of gas in Dallas was 2.60. I must have a 14 gallon tank because per my idiot indicator I had 25 more miles to empty...I filled up with 13.9 at $2.87. It took right about 6 hours to get here but only 358 miles. I'd say it was a perfect day. But wait there's more...
