We were really spoilt for our very first Thanksgiving by our friends Simon, Jean, Zoe, Vinny and Jake (the dog). Matthew and Simon are curing their hangovers with more beer after yesterday's celebrations. The turducken (turkey stuffed with duck stuffed with chicken stuffed with cajun sausagemeat) was REALLY tasty, and Matthew's turkey gravy was a triumph. It was turkey sandwiches for lunch and tonight it's turkey curry. And OMG - the pumpkin pie! That was SO good.

Winter in Arizona is pretty harsh. Today it was 21c. Brrrrh - the Tantons are complaining that it is freezing although Simon is still in shorts and sandals. The boys played cricket in the garden whilst the girls put up the christmas tree. It's all a bit different.
