We woke up early than we would have liked to get to Detroit for a Sunday afternoon game.  The Tigers battled the Yankees on a beautiful sunny day.  It didn’t start well (for Anna, anyway) when the very first Tiger batter hit an inside-the-park homerun.  While that was pretty exciting, the Yanks never managed to catch up.

That evening we had a great time hanging out with the most random group of people ever, including the cousins of our south Georgia host Sarah (Matt and Luke), their Australian friends, and Maggie’s friend of a friend Tim.
