Started the day with Barries lost key, found under the stool after strip searching all 3 bodies. We left the Motel and headed eastwards up the Northern side of the Columbia river. We travelled for 50 miles along the banks of the river to a place called "Stonehenge". This concrete attempt at replicating our own Stonehenge was a bit of a joke, although it was placed there as a memeorial to the first world war soliders from the area.

We then crossed the Columbia to the south side and put our first feet in Oregan. We travveled westwards to a an excellent visitor centre that talked about the Lewis and Clark expedition to discover the Pacific.

Today we travelled 150 miles along the Columbia - one hell of a big river!

Fortified by these exploits we headed for Portland only to get lost ourselves within 30 miles. Our reliable GPS system took us to a BMW dealership address that was 60 miles away from the actual address.

Conrad led the desparados into a field 30 miles outside Portand, despite  several attempts to stop him. When he realised it was wrong it was all too late. Andy, out of sheer tiredness, dropped the bike and promptly lay on the floor to go to sleep. Once recovered we set off to Patty and Martins house arriving an hour later to a great welcome with chilled beer and a bbq all fired up.

Talked into the night and retired to Martins den.
