The 6th Smallest Country in the World
From Europe in Vaduz, Liechtenstein on Jun 04 '07
We stopped in Vaduz, Liechtenstein for literally an hour. I wanted to collect the things I had been collecting throughout my trip so I rushed to a nearby convenience store. I grabbed two shot glasses (one for me, one for my sister- we both collect) and a few postcards for this addition of the scrapbook. With my remaining 20 minutes I grabbed a bite to eat from the grocery store and went and got my passport stamped!
Like I said before- I was so excited to get my passport stamped everywhere. I thought throughout life this book would be a great indicator- all in one place, of where I've been in the world. However, I was a little saddened by the lack of stamps. I'd always have my memories, photos, scrapbooks and blogs, but was really excited to have one little stamp from each place. Now although Liechtenstein did not stamp when we came across the border you could pay 2 Francs in Vaduz and they would stamp it for you. Considering this is a country I may not come back to again (it's just very small, and I still have so much left to see) that I figured I should get this stamp. I say it's everything worth the 2 Francs I paid... now back to Germany.
I was so excited to get my passport stamped everywhere...
