Today we did a day tour of Bordeaux. That was a smart move as pretty much all the interesting things about Bordeaux are hidden. If it weren't for the tour we'd have left scratching our heads about what the big deal was! Right in the middle of town, behind unassuming facades were all of the wine cellars/houses. We went to one that was converted into a museum. We only got to see the business side of the house though.
Then they took us out to the countryside and we visited St.Emillion. An old fortress town. There was an underground church there and we saw one skeleton in the ground. So I guess that has to serve as our catacomb tour that we missed! The best food we found were the macarons. Our friend, curtis, ate an entire box of 24 himself.

It was raining by the time we returned to town. We had dinner at a nice restaurant. They had a bowl of mussels. I swear there were at least 2 dozen mussels/serving. I couldn't eat all of mine.
