We bid our sad farewells to Captain Mike and hit the Panama Isthmus by 4wd across the jungle. This was our last chance to spot a three toed sloth monkey, but as always no monkey.
Panama city was nice enough, we stayed for 2 days, long enough to see someone get stabbed in front of our hostel. Gulp. Its not as bad as it sounds - trust us.

Becasue we took our sweet time in South America, Robert and Angela's Central America Adventure had to be postponed. We opted to take our first domestic flight from Panama City to Los Angeles.
