paris, my favorite place in the world

so after enjoying my nice cheap flight from glasgow i had the pleasure of taking an hour long bus ride into the city, the bus leaves you at a parking lot near the edge of the city, so now all that was left was for me to make my way across the city with my nice large back pack, thank god i love the paris metro, sadly i don't think that the other people love me and my big bag, lol,  anyhow so i checked into my hotel which was near the place de bastille, it was a great little hotel, called mary's hotel, it's one of those places with a really nice lobby where you are renting the one dormitory room so not many other back packers around, when i walked up the narrow steps to my room i had the nice surprise of finding one of my room mates sound asleep with the entire contents of his bag in a huge pile on the floor, when he woke up he was a great guy and showed me how to sneak on to the balcony to smoke, so paris is exactly like i remembered and i still love it, there is something about this city that just makes me feel good, i dumped my bags and walked down to  notre dame and then wondered around the spanish quarter, ending my day in the luxumbourg gardens, sadly eating a hamburger from mcdonalds, i know i know but they are only a euro!!!!!

the next day i went to my favorite place in paris, montmarte and the sacre cour, i love this part of the city, the ambiance is great, the souvenir shopping is great and i just love everything about it, i tried to find the cafe where they filmed amelie so i could get a photo for my sister, i found the street but not the cafe there were about 12 cafes on this street and i couldn't remember exactly what the cafe looked like,  i bought lunch at the grocery store, another cost effective food source,
