I was very excited to visit the park during the Christmas season finally and I wasn't disappointed.  Everything was decorated in accordance to each of the lands and it was all gorgeous (see pictures).  The characters were even in the spirit with their Christmas clothes on.

The best part of the trip though was at night.  Disneyland is already magical at night when it is not Christmas.  But when those Christmas lights get turned on...you become speechless.  This year they added Icicle and snow lights to the castle and each evening they have a lighting ceremony at the castle.  In addition, after the the ceremony and also again after the fireworks, they make it snow in Disneyland.

You read that right, snow in Disneyland.  The best place to see it is on Main Street, not because you have a better view or anything.  But, because with the back drop of the old fashioned christmas decorations and the buildings, you would have to be a real scrooge not to be filled with the Christmas spirit.
