With it still being mid-winter, there is only one ferry a day from downtown Seattle, so we left Saturday morning, planning to come back Monday evening and catch a flight home from SeaTac. There was about 3 hours between our ferry landing flight in Seattle and our flight, but with the taxi ride only about a half hour, even with traffic, I wasn't really worried.

Saturday morning went smoothly. We took a cab from our downtown hotel to the Victoria Clipper ferry terminal and checked in boarded easily. The ferry over was uneventful. We couldn't see much because the windows were fogged, because it was so cold. And it was certainly too cold to venture out onto the deck.
