Downtown Disney

We had another morning at the villa to swim and recharge today.  Me, Mum & Dad went down to the Nike Clearance shop to have a look, and when we got back we got ready to go out.  We headed off to Downtown Disney, the plan was to have an early dinner at Planet Hollywood.  Downtown Disney is all the restaurants, clubs and Disney Quest.  We had dinner at Planet Hollywood,  had a classic cheeseburger and a chocolate sundae.  The icecream was so rich, I couldn't eat it all.  We walked through Pleasure Island to Disney Quest.  Disney Quest is a virtual amusement park.  There was 4 levels.  The first ride we went on was Pirates of the Caribbean.  We had special 3D glasses and we were in a team of 4, one had to steer the ship and the other three fired the cannons and sink the other pirate ships and take their gold, there was sea monsters and ghosts.  It was unreal, we had to go on it twice.  Then we went white water rafting in dinosaur infested caves (back in time).  We got sprayed with water every time we came down a slope!  The next ride you got a card and you swiped it through a special computer and it guided you through designing your own rollercoaster, then you lined up and they loaded your design into a simulator and you rode your rollercoaster!  We fished, we skateboarded, we played basketball, Lexie's top score was 99 hoops in 45secs, my score was 67.  Then the ultimate, DODGEM CARS WITH CANNONS!!!!! I had two goes.  Once to fire the cannons and then once to drive.  All the games were free once you got in and it was unlimited, perfect!!!!  All of a sudden it was 2300 (11pm at night) and they were closing, we could have stayed heaps longer if they'd let us.  Anyway, we were all well and truly knackered by the time we got home.  Next................
