Quading on the Oregon Sand Dunes

The weather was exceptionally great for our annual sand dune quad riding.  Everyone had a blast both hanging around in camp and riding out on the dunes.

Jessica got brave this year and rode the big dunes both up and down earning her the title of Dune Master (sung to the theme of Bad to the Bone).

Tony learned that the quad will throw you a good 10 feet if you get the front wheel caught while side-hilling.  It was his first wreck and it was a good one.  The bike rolled a couple of times but he escaped unscathed.  He got right back on and gave it another go.

Dad aired down the tires on the Jeep Cherokee and took it right out on the sand.  We learned that it will climb just about anything and it would make a great commercial.  Todd like riding in the Jeep on the dunes.
