The Maritime Museum was quite interesting as they had as there were several aquariums with various size fish including sharks and sea turtles.
Key West is famous for Conch, pronounced, "Konk". It is a shell based aquatic creature which grows to the size of a soft ball or a little large. Key West residents eat these in soup, salads, and burgers. They call a seven year resident of Key West as a "Fresh Water Konk".
I also had an opportunity to pet a shark. (The shark was a baby shark of about 18" and was held by the Marine Attendant - I will keep the size of the shark as my secret)
