Today we decided to go back to Munich to see the Deutsches Museum in Munich. It was a cold and rainy day today.

We rode in on the train and then had to walk approximately 10-12 blocks in the rain, ducking in and out of shops to try not to get as wet.

The Deutsches Museum is very large. It has 6 different floors filled with anything from Astronomy to Transportation. I thought the coolest thing was the Wright Brothers first airplane and the giant Missile Silo thingie. Aaron's favorite parts were the U-boat and the Enigma Machine. We ate at the little buffet at the Museum. We split a Schnitzel, Pizza and some Pomme Frites. It is had to find bottled water that isn't mineral water (carbonated). Eww.

It was nice, because there was not a lot of people walking around down in Munich today. We were also able to stop at a lot of shops that we were not able to do before because there was so many people.

We stopped at Dallmayr. It is a large delicatessen that has a range of things you can buy from coffee, tea, chocolate, wine and food. We ended up buying some chocolate. YUMMY!!!

We also looked at all the windows for the stores that had watches. The most expensive watch we found was 32,000 Euro. We also saw a cellphone for 4600 Euro. Holy Man!!!!

One of the funnier things we saw at the museum.

We also stopped at some department stores, Karstadt and Hertie. Karstadt was like Target but instead of all on one level you go to many levels on escalators. Hertie is a bit more expensive.  They had strollers that cost like 600 euro and lots of watches that cost over 1000 euro.

We also stopped at the Frauenkirche which has a tile that is depressed in the pattern of a foot where the devil supposedly stomped on the floor. I got shooshed there for talking too loud, but I wasn't as loud as some others....

After a long day, we headed back to the hotel.

There is a guy at the hotel that wears a pair orange pants everyday that we see him. Aaron said that he was going to give him some money so he could buy some different color pants.
