Rome

We arrived into Roma late in the afternoon (6pm) thanks to an interesting local driver! The traffic was chaos which didn't help the situation.

On arrival we jumped the metro into town for a walking tour of the sites. The trains were dirty and loud. The city it's self was also fairly dirty. The walking tour was very great and we passed all the big sites including the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, the Roman Forum finishing at the Colosseum.

It was a late night but well worth the effort. The next day we lined up for the Vatican City for 2 hrs. Although a long wait it was well worth it as we spent time in the Sistine Chapel. In the end we had to leave because you could have spent days there admiring it all.

After lunch we headed for St Peter's with the Piazza, Vault and Chapel. This was mind blowing aswell. Never have I seen anything like this.

In the late afternoon we headed to the Colosseum for a look inside. Although this was good it wasn't as good as I had imagined as we weren't able to enter the areas below the floor.
