Running with the Bulls in Pamplona

How romantic is that?  Raging bulls running rampant in the streets and gory bullfights to follow.  What better way to celebrate a 2nd year wedding anniversary?  The "San Fermin" festival in Pamplona, more widely known as the "Running of the Bulls" was nothing more than complete chaos.  The city goes through a week of anarchy with bulls runs in the streets, bull fights, parades, fireworks, dancing in the streets, and partying all night.  We wore the traditional white outfits with red scarfs and belts, and truly enjoyed the experience; nothing like it anywhere else.  But, of course, the fact that Venice was soon to come on our itinerary saved our anniversary, and likely our marriage! :-)
